Thanks for attending these meetings and your insight when reporting on them. Am saddened by the Wisconsin Legislature's lack of support for our public schools and once again challenging our teachers in educating our students. More resources funneled into "choice" schools that have no accountability, and, sometimes, no continuity. Also, 70% arrested from Milwaukee. Now I see why the sudden interest in tinted windows legislation. One more pretext to stop motorists.

If you read Trans 305, this is much more than tinted windows. Below is an abbreviated version of all items that could put you out of compliance. I was rear-ended, and it takes three weeks for replacement parts, and I hear months from others waiting for replacement parts. What about folks who can't afford to fix minor things with their car?

-backup lamps

-stop lamps

-tail lamps

-bumpers

-door handles, hoods, locks, latches, etc.

-exhausts that extend beyond the bumper

-fenders and projecting parts

-horn

-mirrors

-windshields

-windshield wipers

-and more!

I didn't watch the school board meeting so correct me if I'm wrong, but did Liz Rolland miss another opportunity to acknowledge her gross misunderstanding of the fiscal state of the district she exhibited during her campaign? And has she still not taken the opportunity to apologize to her opponent, Chris Zirbes for publicly accusing him of lying when he predicted what turned out to be the truth about it?

Ha, I went through the video kind of quickly but no I didn’t catch anything like that. I am curious now what exactly each of them said before the election to see how they’ve held up.
