Neighborhood residents were almost universally opposed to plans for a 20-story apartment building on a pair of empty lots at 10845 West Blue Mound Road and 301 North Mayfair Road, and a necessary zoning amendment for the site was unanimously denied, 6-0, by the Community Affairs Committee in early-2021.
