A more important question/discussion might be what happens if the state legislature does not provide any increase to the revenue limits and/or the community does not approve an operational referendum.
Yes, it would have been nice if they'd addressed that. I didn't hear anyone mention what might be cut to free up money for increased salaries should the state funding be inadequate or the referendum fail.
