So the fiscal cliff starts in two years? Wait. We were assured the district was fiscally sound. In fact, one SB candidate even accused another of making this up. And there it is—there’s enough money for two years before Referendum 2.0 becomes reality.

A more important question/discussion might be what happens if the state legislature does not provide any increase to the revenue limits and/or the community does not approve an operational referendum.

Yes, it would have been nice if they'd addressed that. I didn't hear anyone mention what might be cut to free up money for increased salaries should the state funding be inadequate or the referendum fail.
